In a brief meeting on Tuesday, November 3rd, the Corydon Town Council heard an announcement from Leadership Harrison County regarding their upcoming project to identify & mark unmarked graves in Cedar Hill cemetery.
The repairs to the roof on the town hall are nearing completion. The town is still waiting on the state for approval of the new crosswalk at Bicentennial Park. Council will need to meet to make final decisions about the Urban Trail's sidewalk and they will soon be letting bids for a new water project.

Revision of the Water & Sewer MOU with Tyson foods so that it no longer requires annual review. Now review will be when either party requests and costs will be split 50/50.
Harrison Township Fire Dept. is requesting the council adopt a local ordinance so that they can enforce fire code. Many local businesses are dangerously out of compliance, but all they can do currently is refer the situation to the state fire marshal. Harrison is one of eleven counties in Indiana without such an ordinance. The state provides draft code and they have been working with the local fire department to make it particular to Corydon & Harrison County. Council is reviewing the ordinance proposed.
Discussion of the proposed skate park is slated to continue. At the next meeting the council hopes to select a site for the park. The site next to the bridge is the only option which will not involve acquiring new property.
The Town Council approved a new car for the police department as scheduled in the budget, and a RTV for the Street Department to replace a '93 pickup truck they are currently driving.
The town plans to recover seven of the nine parking spaces lost near Bicentennial Park by creating bump outs for the pedestrian crossing. The plan is pending approval by the state.
$10,000 was approved to take part in a joint project to replace the fencing at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
