Amazon delays facility opening until 2023…

According to Darrell Voelker of Harrison County Economic Development Corporation, Amazon will not “equip or put employees in the building this year.”

Originally, Amazon planned to be open and hiring by October of 2022, but the company is now “evaluating all of their facilities for the best use at this time.” Amazon does plan to open the sortation facility in 2023, but no specific timeline is known at this time.
