The Harrison County coroner has requested an additional from the commissioners to cover fuel costs due to the increased price of gas, but also because of a large increase in cases in 2022. At this time in 2021, the coroner had dealt with fifty-four cases. Eric Wise from the Harrison County Planning commission presented a change of zoning for a one acre property on Hwy 135 SW from heavy industry to urban fringe. The commissioners approved it unanimously.
